BroadbandMT’s Annual Meeting is right around the corner, and we’re excited to welcome you back to beautiful Missoula this year!
We will once again be offering a guided float trip on the Clark Fork River on Monday, August 17, 2026 led again by the Missoula Fly Guy and his expert team of guides.
This will be a premium rafting experience with only 18 spots available, so make sure to reserve yours early. The cost is $400 per person, and each participant will be paired with another attendee to share a raft and a dedicated guide to help you fly fish (if you'd like). Whether you’re a seasoned caster or totally new to the sport, you’ll get personalized 1:1 instruction throughout the float. Sign up when you register for the meeting.
If you have someone in mind you'd like to pair with, let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate. Telco attendees will be given priority if interest exceeds capacity.
What's Included:

Lunch, hat, snacks, cigars, and beverages.

Sturdy water shoes – Covered toes are highly recommended; old sneakers work great!
-
Comfortable, water-friendly clothing – Quick-dry preferred, but not required. You might get wet, especially if you take a dip—intentional or not.

Fishing license – Please click here to purchase ahead of time.
Extras:
We’ll be supplying the essentials: fish whistles (a.k.a. Geoff Feiss cigars) and sponsored fishing hats, guaranteed to make you the envy of the river. Snacks, beer, soda, and water will be packed into coolers on each raft. Have a beer preference? Feel free to bring your own! This is Missoula, after all - home to a thriving microbrew scene.
Transportation:
We may need a few volunteers to help shuttle folks to and from the various launch points along the river. Each group will depart from a different section, so we appreciate the help!
Sponsorships:
We have several opportunities for Associate Members to be recognized on this popular trip - click here for more information.
All proceeds go to our Rural Education Fund.
